Adam Wood, FNP-C
Adam Wood is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, focusing his talents on pain management and interventional spine medicine.
Adam graduated from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ, receiving his BSN and MSN in Nursing, summa cum laude. He began his nursing career at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ, where he strongly connected with orthopedics. Adam and his wife, Lia, decided to relocate to La Quinta in 2018 to be closer to family. He began as an RN at Eisenhower, where he discovered his sincere interest in pain management. Soon after, Adam attended Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA, where he obtained his Family Nurse Practitioner certification summa cum laude.
Adam was born and raised in Palm Desert, CA. He is also a veteran of the United States Army and Afghanistan and has a strong sense of duty and commitment to his career and hometown. “Being back home and providing care to the community I admire fills me with immense pride,” says Adam. He is also a proud family man, married to the love of his life, Lia, with whom he shares two young daughters. Adam loves to show his family all the activities he enjoyed as a child growing up: hiking, camping, trips to the beach, and the mountains.
Adam is an active member of The American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the California Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
